Shoreline FC meets Everton FC
by posted 04/24/2014

Working with such wonderful people over the years, Shoreline FC arranged for our Soccer Trip girls to have an audience with the Everton FC players after their Premier League clash with Crystal Palace. “The People’s Club” as it’s so affectionately known in England, Everton Football Club could not have been more courteous, generous with their time and hospitable to our girls.

Steven Pienaar, Gareth Barry, Aidan McGeady, Ross Barkley were all very accommodating to meet and greet our players. Manager Roberto Martinez was extremely generous with his time (having come back from interviews to meet up with our party), spent time both chatting with the girls and conversing with our Shoreline FC coaching staff about football and our club here in Connecticut. Last, but not least, Everton and USA International Goalkeeper Tim Howard spent time signing autographs, taking pictures and welcoming his fellow countrymen to Everton FC. What a true gentleman and ambassador for his club and country in every sense of the word.

On behalf of Shoreline FC, I want to thank Roberto Martinez, Tim Howard and the entire Everton FC playing and backroom staff for making our trip to Goodison Park the most memorable it could be. Thank you

2014 Girls Soccer Trip to England
by posted 04/24/2014

With over 9-months of planning and organization, countless conversations, players signing up – stepping down – signing up again and last minute additions, I’m so very proud to share with you the most amazing soccer trip Shoreline FC girls have just been on.

We left the US on Saturday April 12th and returned Sunday April 20th.  In those 8-days (fitting that we went to Liverpool for 8-days a week!!), these girls got to experience England at its very best; Sunshine (YES SUNSHINE), football, food and life-long friendships.

These ladies were treated like royalty by the fantastic clubs we got to play against. Preston North End, Golbourne Girls, Tranmere Rovers, Lancashire Select and Euxton Girls all gave our players the very warmest of welcomes, competition on the fields and hospitality afterwards.

I have put together a power point recapping our trip. CLICK HERE to share in our experiences; A wonderful trip exclusive to Shoreline FC.

I look forward to presenting our 2015 trip to you all in the very near future (FYI: I already have girls signed up for next year that went with us this year!!!

shoreline boys tour 2014 - west ham utd
by posted 04/12/2014

Our Shoreline boys tour is now into Day 5. After the tough game against West Ham Academy, the boys enjoyed a night at the Emirates Stadium watching Arsenal against West Ham. Although West Ham lost, which they were all upset about, they had a great experience at the game and got a taste of the passion the fans have, especially on away games.
Wednesday, the team took on Charlton athletic Academy. After a slow start and going one down, the boys woke up and put in another great performance. After coming back twice from a goal down, they ended up winning 4 3. A great game and effort by all
